No. PieFolio AI is a portfolio tracker and analysis tool. We don't execute trades or hold your money, your assets stay with your broker. We give you clarity, a Health score, and AI-written insight on top.

Which markets do you support?

US stocks today, with broader markets coming. You can add any number of positions across any number of portfolios, even if you're outside the US.

How does the AI analysis work?

Tap Generate and we build a structured report from your live positions: Overview, Risk, Diversification, Income, and What to consider. Reports are cached for around 12 hours so you're not regenerating the same snapshot. Free accounts get a generous monthly quota; Premium unlocks more.

Yes, the core app is free on iOS and Android. Premium unlocks higher AI quotas and pro features as they roll out.

What about ethical or faith-aligned screening?

Faith-aligned screening (including AAOIFI-style indicators) is on our long-term roadmap. We'll bring it back when the experience is fully end-to-end. For now, the focus is breadth, clarity and AI for every investor.

How is my data handled?

We use bank-grade encryption, never sell your data, and you can delete your account at any time from the app. Our privacy policy covers both the website and the mobile app.

Terms of Service – PieFolio AI

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PieFolio AI (the "Service"), including the website at getpiefolio.com and the PieFolio AI mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

PieFolio AI is a portfolio tracking and AI-assisted analysis app for everyday investors. Core features include portfolio tracking, a Portfolio Health score, AI-written portfolio analysis, and a dividend calendar. PieFolio AI is not a broker, custodian, or financial adviser; we do not execute trades or hold any of your assets.

3. Not Financial Advice

Important: PieFolio AI provides educational and informational tools only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Portfolio Health scores, AI reports, and any other outputs are generated from the data you provide and from publicly available market data, and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Consult a qualified professional before acting on any information from the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

Portfolio analysis is produced by large-language-model technology supplied by third-party AI providers. By using AI features, you acknowledge that:

AI-generated text may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
The same prompt may return different outputs at different times.
AI outputs are not personalised investment recommendations and must not be relied upon as such.
We only send portfolio composition and derived metrics to AI providers, never your name, email, payment data, or other direct identifiers (see our Privacy Policy, Section 6).
You may not feed the Service prompts intended to generate harmful, deceptive, illegal, or rights-infringing content.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of our Service, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and entering portfolio data
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Use the Service only for lawful, personal investment-tracking purposes
Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
Not scrape, copy, or redistribute our data, AI outputs, or interface beyond personal use
Not use the Service to harm, harass, defraud, or infringe the rights of others
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

6. Premium Subscription

PieFolio AI offers a free tier with usage limits and paid Premium access through the Apple App Store and Google Play as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions, or a one-time Founding Lifetime purchase that does not renew. Prices and introductory offers are localised and shown in the app at the point of purchase. A 7-day free trial is offered on the annual plan only, to eligible users, as shown in the app. Payments are processed by Apple or Google under their respective terms; PieFolio AI does not receive or store your card details. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Full auto-renewal, cancellation, refund, and price- change terms are set out in our Subscription Terms, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. AI features on all Premium options are subject to section 6c, Fair use. Full lifetime terms are in the Founding Lifetime section of the Subscription Terms.

6a. Apple App Store Additional Terms

For the iOS app, this agreement is between you and PieFolio AI only, and not with Apple. The app is licensed under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for any product warranties, claims, or intellectual-property infringement related to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

6b. Google Play Additional Terms

Purchases and downloads through Google Play are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

6c. Fair use

These fair use rules keep AI features available for normal personal use. They apply to Premium monthly and annual subscriptions and to the Founding Lifetime purchase.

Limits: AI chat is limited to 300 messages per calendar month, 30 messages per day, and 5 messages per minute. “Unlimited” AI portfolio analysis means normal personal use under the same rate limits.
Monthly reset: Monthly limits reset on the 1st day of each month at 00:00 UTC.
At the limit: AI chat pauses until the next reset. There is no extra charge. All other features keep working.
Not allowed: Automated or scripted use, scraping, reselling access, and sharing one account between several people.
Lifetime: Founding Lifetime is a one-time payment for Premium as offered at the time of purchase. Automatic broker sync is not included. AI features are subject to these fair use limits.
Changes: We may change these limits for new purchases. For existing subscribers and lifetime buyers, we change them only with prior notice and never below the numbers stated at the time of purchase.

7. Faith-Aligned Screening (Roadmap)

Faith-aligned (including Shariah / AAOIFI-style) screening is on our long-term roadmap and is not currently part of the live Service. When such screening is reintroduced, it will be clearly labelled, methodology will be documented, and you should still consult a qualified scholar and financial professional before relying on it.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of PieFolio AI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. AI-generated text returned to you within your account may be used by you for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PieFolio AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, investment losses, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on any AI-generated content, score, or metric.

10. Third-Party Services & Data

The Service relies on third-party data providers, AI providers, payment processors, and platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play). We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or terms of those third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time directly from the app's Settings screen, or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease and your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence, including, for EU/EEA and UK consumers, the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
